HUTCH Elevates Retailer Engagement, Delivering Big Wins to Retailers Across Sri Lanka

HUTCH’s premier retailer rewards programme, Kahawanu Udanaya Season 3, delivered an exciting range of benefits and experiences to its retail partners, with Season 3 bringing greater rewards and surprises than all previous seasons.

More than 10,000 Retailer partners from across the country participated in HUTCH’s results-based coins program since its inception. During the just concluded Season 3, over 700 retail partners chose to redeem their accumulated coins.   Top four performers bagged Rs. 4 million in cash, while 40 partners redeemed precious gold coins which continue to appreciate in value. The remining partners redeemed rewards worth over Rs. 15 million of Singer shopping vouchers, Cargills shopping vouchers, and reload trading stock, effectively a free investment.

Retail partners who chose not to cash in on their reward coins opted to reinvest the coins into the next season for which they also earn an interest. Over 270 million reward coins were invested into the next season, reflecting retailers’ confidence, long-term commitment, and ambition for greater rewards with HUTCH. 

Top-performing retailers were celebrated at a grand awards ceremony at Waters Edge, Colombo where the retail partners along with their families, gathered from different regions of Sri Lanka. The partners and their families were provided an unforgettable welcome and unique treats which included aerial tours over the Colombo city scape on the country’s most modern helicopter fleet – Senok Airbus H125, a first-time and rare experience for many.

Other redeeming retail partners were all personally visited to their place of business and homes and awarded their redeemed gifts. Through Kahawanu Udanaya, HUTCH continues to reinforce its commitment to recognizing and rewarding its retail partners, who play a vital role in driving the brand’s success across the country.

Through this initiative, I was able to earn millions worth of coins across all three seasons, along with cash vouchers worth millions.”

Kahawanu Udanaya continues to differentiate itself through its scale and structure. Looking ahead, Season 4 is set to further expand redemption choices including vouchers towards dream vehicles, travel packages, gold coins, and more, strengthening incentives for continued partnership and growth with HUTCH.
