McLaren Lubricants Celebrates Mobil Delvac Centenary

McLarens Lubricants, a subsidiary of the McLarens Group and the sole authorized distributor of Mobil lubricants in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, recently celebrated the centenary of the introduction of Mobil Delvac to the market. Mobil Delvac is the world’s most trusted high-performance diesel engine lubricant brand.

When Rudolf Diesel first introduced the diesel engine in 1897, many people had no idea how revolutionary it was. By the time the “Diesel Engine Lubricant by Vacuum Oil” or DELVAC was introduced to the world in 1925, the diesel engine had become the engine of global commerce. Today, diesel engine lubricants represent almost half of the total lubricant market in Sri Lanka.
