Uber, the most popular transportation app in Sri Lanka, announced today that it is expanding its services to Kegalle city. This will provide Kegalle residents and visitors with a more convenient, reliable and affordable transportation experience.
With this new expansion, Kegalle commuters can now book cars, three-wheelers and motorbikes for their daily commute, work or other needs in a very short time through the Uber app.
Being a strategically important town located on the Colombo-Kandy main road and home to prominent tourist attractions such as the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Kegalle is a frequented area by local and foreign tourists. With the introduction of Uber, commuters will be able to avail transportation facilities with greater transparency and convenience under upfront pricing when traveling within the city and to nearby towns.
