Sumathi IT Marks 25 Years of Engineering Excellence and Technology Leadership in Sri Lanka

Sumathi Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd (SIT), a technology arm of Sumathi Holdings, marks 25 years in Sri Lanka’s ICT industry in 2026, reflecting a journey that has seen the company evolve from Networking and End Devices to become an end-to-end enterprise technology and systems integration provider.

Its 25th anniversary is being commemorated under the theme “25 Years of Excellence. Built on Trust. Driven by Technology.” highlighting the role of technical expertise, client relationships and technology partnerships in shaping its growth. Operating since 2001, SIT has grown alongside the changing technology requirements of Sri Lankan businesses, expanding its proficiency across data centres, enterprise networking, information security, smart infrastructure, unified communications, end-user computing, managed services, and geospatial and UAV engineering. The company’s approach extends beyond individual technology products, focusing on delivering solutions across their organizational lifecycle, from consultation and design to implementation, optimisation and ongoing support.

SIT’s technical capabilities have been strengthened through partnerships with global technology leaders, with several milestones providing recognition of its growing expertise. The company was recognised as Juniper Networks’ Partner of the Year in 2023, introduced Sri Lanka’s first DJI Dock 3 in 2025, and has been recognised as Sri Lanka’s only HPE Gold Partner for Networking for 2026. The company’s introduction of the DJI Dock 3 also reflects its expansion into emerging technologies, including autonomous systems, geospatial intelligence and advanced engineering applications.
