Flash Health expands Cashless OPD with McLarens Group, strengthens Negombo reach

Flash Health has expanded its corporate healthcare footprint with McLarens Group joining its Cashless OPD platform, while separately partnering with St. Joseph Hospital, Negombo, to extend medicine delivery and home laboratory services in the region. The company said its Cashless OPD platform now manages healthcare access for more than 3,000 lives, while its wider HealthOS ecosystem serves over 50,000 users. Through Cashless OPD, eligible employees can access a range of outpatient healthcare services, including online consultations with general practitioners and specialists, prescribed medicine delivery, home laboratory testing and services through Flash Health partner laboratories. For covered services, employees are able to access care without making upfront payments and subsequently submitting reimbursement claims, helping simplify the traditional process associated with corporate outpatient medical benefits.

Flash Health said the platform also enables employers to fund benefits based on the actual utilisation of covered healthcare services rather than committing the entire benefit allocation in advance. The model is designed to improve cash-flow management while reducing administrative work associated with reimbursements. McLarens Group’s onboarding extends the platform to employees of one of Sri Lanka’s diversified business groups, with interests spanning maritime and logistics, energy, distribution, property and leisure. The Cashless OPD service forms part of Flash Health’s broader HealthOS platform, which is designed to integrate healthcare services including doctor consultations, medicine delivery, laboratory testing and employee benefit management within a single digital ecosystem. In a separate development, Flash Health has entered into a partnership with St. Joseph Hospital, Negombo, to expand access to medicine delivery and home laboratory services in Negombo and surrounding areas. The partnership is also expected to support the extension of Cashless OPD services to eligible members living in the region. Through the collaboration, patients will be able to arrange selected laboratory tests from home and access prescribed medicine delivery, combining St. Joseph Hospital’s local healthcare presence with Flash Health’s digital health and delivery infrastructure. Flash Health said the two developments form part of its strategy to improve access to everyday healthcare services through a combination of corporate benefit solutions, digital technology and partnerships with established healthcare providers. The company expects its HealthOS ecosystem to continue expanding as more employers, healthcare institutions and individual users adopt digitally enabled healthcare services. Consumers can access Flash Health services, including medicine ordering and laboratory test bookings, through the Flash Health app or via appdownload.flash.health. Cashless OPD services are available to eligible members subject to their respective benefit arrangements.
