Mansilu, Thalia lead SL wins in Colombo

Sri Lanka’s Revaan Amarasinghe, Mansilu Jayakody, Adheena Kaleel and Thalia Silva won their opening Singles at the ATF Under-14 Boys’ and Girls’ Colombo Week-1 Tennis Tournament at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Courts in Colombo.

Revaan beat Hong Kong’s Theodore Su 4-0, 4-1 in the Boys’ first round while Mansilu defeated Hong Kong’s Ethan Kan 4-1, 4-0.

In the Girls’ first round, Adheena beat Yuot Yi Ng 4-0, 4-2 while Thalia fought back after losing the second set to beat India’s Ruhi Singh 4-2, 0-4, 5-3.
