IIHS International Foundation introduces program as an alternative to traditional A/L education

IIHS (International Institute of Health Sciences) has introduced a new educational program called the IIHS International Foundation Programme, which is considered a modern and progressive alternative to the traditional Advanced Level (A/L) education system in Sri Lanka. This program focuses on the higher education and career of students. For a long time, A/L education has been the main route for university admission in Sri Lanka. It consists of more than two years of examination-focused study, and is accompanied by a huge expenditure of money for private classes and intense mental stress.

Therefore, many students have to face stress, uncertainty and mental stress when their exam results do not meet expectations. Considering these challenges, IIHS has introduced the International Foundation Programme, which is a way for students to build a balanced foundation in both academic and professional areas. This program not only prepares students for higher education but also helps in developing their intelligence, mental strength and understanding of career paths.
