Haut Monde Event Management & PR is celebrating its fifth anniversary, marking five years of creating curated events, luxury lifestyle experiences and integrated public relations campaigns across Sri Lanka.
Founded by Treshan Pereira, Haut Monde was established with a vision to redefine experiential events by combining creative concepts, strategic planning and execution. The company's journey began with the launch of WAVE Bolgoda and has since evolved into a leading event management and PR firm, recognised for producing curated experiences that seamlessly connect brands, audiences and memorable moments.
Over the past five years, Haut Monde has built a reputation for delivering luxury lifestyle events, including weddings, fashion shows, product and store launches, wellness activations, brunch experiences and exclusive social gatherings. Drawing inspiration from international event trends in Europe, Dubai and Doha while embracing local creativity, the company has consistently introduced fresh concepts to the local market.
A defining milestone in its journey was the launch of FitCon Sri Lanka, the country's first large-scale lifestyle, wellness and fitness expo, co-founded with Natasha Fonseka and Isuru Fonseka. The initiative introduced a new benchmark for wellness-focused experiences and further strengthened Haut Monde's position as an innovator in experiential event management.
Unlike traditional event agencies, Haut Monde offers an end-to-end service, managing every aspect of an event from concept development and venue selection to branding, production, guest curation, influencer engagement, public relations, media management and on-site execution. This fully integrated approach enables clients to work with a single team throughout the planning process while ensuring every detail is carefully considered.
The company has also led successful events and media campaigns for internationally recognised brands, including MAC Cosmetics, Montblanc, Hugo Boss, ALDO and The Body Shop. In addition, Haut Monde has planned and executed numerous high-profile events across Sri Lanka, including fashion shows, luxury brand launches, corporate milestones and hospitality events. As they celebrate their fifth anniversary, it is expanding its portfolio to include destination weddings, with the aim of showcasing Sri Lanka as a premier wedding destination for international couples seeking unforgettable celebrations.
Reflecting on the milestone, Founder Treshan Pereira said leaving behind a successful corporate career to establish Haut Monde was driven by a passion to create experiences that go beyond conventional event management. "Our philosophy has always been simple. Every event should tell a story that is unique to the client. We take a highly personalised approach, working closely with each client from the initial concept through to execution to ensure every detail reflects their vision. We deliberately remain selective about the projects we undertake so that we can dedicate our full attention and deliver an exceptional experience every time," he said.
The company has also planned and executed events across different parts of Sri Lanka, demonstrating its ability to adapt concepts to diverse locations and audiences. Among its portfolio are leading designer Indi Yapa Abeywardena, Exclusive Lines, Tiesh Jewellers, the Khayal by Sriyani fashion show in Kandy, the 45th anniversary celebration of JB Lands in Kurunegala and the launch of Grand Walawwa in Kegalle.
He added that Haut Monde's commitment extends far beyond organising events. "We don't simply plan occasions; we create experiences. Whether it's an intimate private celebration, a luxury wedding, a large-scale corporate launch or a destination event, our focus remains the same: thoughtful planning, meticulous execution and creating memorable moments that leave a lasting impression on every guest."
Looking ahead, Haut Monde aims to continue raising the standard for luxury event management in Sri Lanka while introducing new concepts that blend creativity, hospitality and innovation, further strengthening the country's position as a destination for world-class events.
