The Sri Lankan rupee remains steady against the US dollar across major commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (20), with the selling rate inching close to Rs. 315 in some banks.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 308.55 to Rs. 308.75 and from Rs. 313.30 to Rs. 313.50, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate and selling rates of the US dollar have increased from Rs. 308.05 to Rs. 308.40 and from Rs. 314.55 to Rs. 314.90, respectively.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 307.77 to Rs. 308.01, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 314.55 to Rs. 314.81.
Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates remain unchanged at Rs. 306.35 and Rs. 314.75, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying rate and selling rates have increased from Rs. 308.25 to Rs. 308.50 and from Rs. 314.75 to Rs. 315.
