CPC raises fuel prices

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) raised the prices of diesel and Petrol 92 Octane with effect from last midnight, with Super Diesel posting the sharpest increase.

Super Diesel was raised by Rs. 50 to Rs. 528 per litre, an increase of 10.5%. Auto Diesel, the fuel most used by the transport and logistics sectors, was raised by Rs. 10, or 2.6%, to Rs. 392 per litre. Petrol 92 Octane rose by Rs. 15, or 3.8%, to Rs. 414 per litre.

The price of Petrol 95 Octane was unchanged at Rs. 475 per litre, while kerosene remained at Rs. 285 per litre
