Chevron felicitates female-owned and operated Caltex authorized dealers and exclusive service stations on account of International Women’s Day 2025

In celebration of International Women’s Day, Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC, the trusted provider of Caltex-branded premium lubricants in Sri Lanka, recently reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women in the automotive industry through its flagship gender equity initiative, Caltex Abhimani.

Marking another milestone in the journey of inclusion and empowerment, Chevron hosted a dedicated knowledge-sharing session for female-owned and operated Caltex authorized dealerships and Caltex Xpress Lube service stations across Sri Lanka. The session provided participants with a sound understanding of motor mechanism—strengthening their technical acumen and ability to engage more confidently with customers in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Further recognizing the vital role of these pioneering women—who represent nearly 15 percent of Chevron’s exclusive dealer network—Chevron also gifted each participant a comprehensive one-year health insurance package from a leading insurance service provider. The policy includes a life insurance cover, hospitalization benefit and OPD (outpatient department) entitlements.
