Sri Lankarupee closes weaker, bondyields steady

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 316.75/317.00 to the US dollar in the spot market Wednesday, from 316.50/75 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were broadly steady. 

A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 8.60/75 percent, up from 8.55/70 percent. 



A bond maturing on 01.05.2027 closed at 8.90/95 percent, up from 8.85/95 percent. 

A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed at 9.65/68 percent, down from 9.65/75 percent. 

A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 closed at 9.95/98 percent, up from 9.95/97 percent. 

A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 10.00/05 percent, up from 9.95/10.00 percent. 

A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 closed at 10.15/18 percent, up from 12/17 percent. 

A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 10.65/85 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 closed at 10.95/11.00 percent.
