At the vibrant “Sri Lanka Pavilion,” ten Sri Lankan ICT companies showcased cutting-edge solutions spanning artificial intelligence, IoT, software development, IT-enabled services and related digital innovations. Their strong presence attracted significant interest from global investors, industry leaders and potential partners, further strengthening Sri Lanka’s positioning in the global technology and innovation landscape.

This second participation marks an important milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the Export Development Board and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, initiated in 2024 to enhance Sri Lanka’s ICT sector presence in the Japanese market. The initiative supports approximately 30 ICT/BPM companies, including SMEs and startups, through tailored business coaching, market intelligence and targeted matchmaking opportunities with Japanese industry partners.

Prior to the main exhibition, the delegation actively participated in a series of structured activities, including business briefings, site visits seminars and networking sessions.

Participation in one of Asia’s leading technology exhibitions has further elevated the global presence of Sri Lanka’s ICT sector while strengthening the growing digital partnership between Sri Lanka and Japan.

Such collaborative initiatives pave the way for a more innovative and connected future, while unlocking new global opportunities for Sri Lanka’s ICT industry.
