Sri Lanka sells extra Rs25.5bn Treasury bills after auction

Sri Lanka has sold 25,522 million rupees of treasury bills offered on tap at average rates of 8.15 percent and 8.52 percent, the public debt management office said, bringing the total of bills sold last week to 84 billion rupees.

The debt office sold 3-month bills at 8.15 percent.

The debt office sold 12-month bills at 8.52 percent.

Total market subscription was 25,522 million rupees.

On Wednesday (15) the debt office raised 58.52 billion rupees of 3, 6 and 12 month bills, after offering 90 billion.
