Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 316.05/15 to the US dollar in the spot market Friday, weaker from 315.85/316.10 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were quoted steady.
A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.95/10.00 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 was quoted at 10.00/04 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 was quoted at 10.13/18 percent, up from 10.10/13 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 was quoted at 10.95/11.05 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 was quoted at 11.10/20 percent, up from 11.05/12 percent.
The telegraphic transfer rates for the American dollar were 312.5000 buying, 319.5000 selling; the British pound was 421.4655 buying, and 432.7689 selling, and the euro was 365.7345 buying, 377.1539 selling.
On the Colombo Stock Exchange the All Share Price Index was trending up 0.52 percent, 117.96 points, at 22,706.93; while the S&P SL20 was up 0.62 percent, or 38.86 points, at 6,269.62.
