Guided by a clear vision to extend value beyond business, Prime Group made a landmark contribution of LKR 200 million to the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, pledging support toward the national recovery from Cyclone Ditwah. This is believed to be one of the highest contributions made by a corporate body thus far. As a company, Prime believes it is their duty to contribute and assist the nation in times of distress.
Prime Group is strongly committed to supporting education and healthcare initiatives, seeing it as the company’s responsibility to maintain and uplift these essential facilities for communities and the future.
Mrs. Sandamini Perera, Co-Chairperson of Prime Group, recently stated: “As a company, we firmly believe that education is our responsibility because it is our nation’s future, and healthcare is our duty. We are always committed to strengthening the nation’s education and healthcare systems for the betterment of tomorrow.”
Reaffirming this commitment, the Group extended immediate support to children of police officers affected by the disaster, providing complete sets of school supplies for the new school year, ensuring no disaster disrupts their future education. Prime Group stands with frontline officers who continue to protect communities at great personal risk.
Prime Group’s healthcare involvements have brought life-saving impact to patients across the country. The Group donated three dialysis machines to the Kegalle Hospital, expanding access to critical kidney treatment for patients in the region.
Extending their obligation to advanced cancer care, Prime Group is set to provide a specialized radiation bunker with chemical non-leak protection to the Apeksha hospital, a critical infrastructure requirement without which Linear Accelerator machines cannot operate. By delivering this essential facility, Prime Group will reduce radiotherapy waiting time, transforming care and saving countless lives.
In addition, Prime Group maintains Ward 38 at Kalubowila Hospital, strengthening the hospital's capacity to serve patients.
As the Group continues its 30-year legacy of leadership, Premalal Brahmanage, Chairman of Prime Group, notes: “True leadership is measured by the impact we have on people’s lives and the hope we inspire in our communities. At Prime Group, we believe that for a business to thrive, we must safeguard our people and contribute to the nation’s wellbeing, delivering not just services, but peace of mind and a brighter future for all. We are committed to rebuilding our nation which we believe is our responsibility. This is the core value we will uphold in the years to come.”
Prime Group’s legacy speaks for itself: 30 years of dedication, delivering a century’s worth of nation-building and committed to creating a better place on earth.
