Heat index at ‘Caution Level’ across several areas

The Department of Meteorology stated that the heat index will remain at ‘Caution Level’ (39–45°C) in several parts of the island today (28), warning of potential health risks.

Authorities have advised the public to avoid direct sunlight, stay hydrated, and take precautions, especially for children, the elderly, and those with health conditions.
