United Tractors & Equipment Wins Rs. 1.4 Bn Motor Grader Tender

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the procurement of 75 motor graders for use in government development programmes, following a National Competitive Bidding process.

The procurement received Cabinet approval at its meeting held on October 21, 2025, after which bids were invited. A total of five bids were submitted and evaluated.

Based on the recommendations of the High-Level Standing Procurement Committee, the Cabinet approved the proposal presented by the President in his capacity as Minister of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development to award the contract to United Tractors & Equipment (Private) Limited.

The contract has been awarded at a value of Rs. 1,424.25 million, excluding VAT.
