Sri Lankan pavilion opens at Hotel Asia 2026, showcasing export potential

The Sri Lankan Pavilion at Hotel Asia 2026, held in Hulhumalé, Maldives, was officially opened with the participation of Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to the Maldives, Mohamed Rizvi Hassan, highlighting the growing importance of trade and business ties between Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

High Commissioner Hassan joined Sanjeewa, President of the Sri Lanka–Maldives Business Council, in cutting the ceremonial ribbon to mark the opening of the pavilion. Immediate Past President Sudesh Mendis was also present on the occasion.

The pavilion provides an important platform for Sri Lankan businesses to showcase their products and services to Maldivian buyers, hospitality industry representatives and international visitors attending Hotel Asia 2026.
