Sri Lanka stocks close up, turnover Rs3bn

The Colombo Stock Exchange closed up on Wednesday, data from CSE showed.

The All Share was up 0.60 percent, or 132.82 points at 22,261.48.

The S&P SL20 was up 0.57 percent, or 35.02 points at 6,187.75.

Ceylinco Holdings (up 4.76 percent at Rs.3248.25), Melstacorp (up 1.41 percent at Rs.180.00), Hatton National Bank (up 0.85 percent at Rs.414.00), and Chevon Lubricants (up 3.53 percent at Rs.6.50) were top positive contributors to the ASPI.

DFCC Bank (down 1.52 percent at Rs.145.50), Sunshine Holdings (down 1.59 percent at Rs.31.00) were top negative contributors.

Turnover was 3.05 billion rupees. Diversified financials contributed 800.3 million to takeover.
