Sri Lanka rupee weaker, bond yields close higher

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 315.60/80 to the US dollar in the spot next market Monday, depreciating from 314.70/315.00 Friday, dealers said, while bond yields closed higher.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed at 8.75/9.00 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.05.2028 closed at 9.60/70 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 9.99/10.00 percent, up from 9.80/90 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 closed at 10.05/15 percent, up from 10.00/10 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 9.50/70 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed at 11.00/10 percent, up from 10.75/85 percent.
