Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 319.00/320.00 to the US dollar in the spot next market, from 318.00/25 the previous day, dealers said.

Meanwhile, in the secondary market, bond yields were broadly steady ahead of an auction of 140,000 million rupees Treasury bills.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed flat at 8.65/75 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed flat at 10.00/05 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 closed at 10.15/20 percent, up from 10.12/18 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 closed flat at 10.65/75 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 closed flat at 10.95/11.05 percent, up from 10.95/11.00 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.06.2034 closed flat at 11.15/17 percent.
