73Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 332.00/333.50 to the US dollar in the spot market on Tuesday, from 331.50/332.00 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields closed broadly steady.
The telegraphic transfer rate for Sri Lanka’s rupee against the US dollar was 327.00 buying, 336.00 selling.
A bond maturing on 01.08.2030 closed flat at 12.05/15 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.01.2033 closed at 12.30/75 percent, up from 12.25/50 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.03.2035 closed flat at 13.05/15 percent.
140,000 million rupees Treasury bills are to be issued through an auction on June 3.
