SLTB appoints 20 female bus conductors

The Sri Lanka Transport Board(SLTB) has appointed 20 female bus conductors, marking the first such recruitment by the state transport service.

Letters of appointment were issued today(06) at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Centre.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Mass Media Dr Kaushalya Ariyarathne, MP Samanmalee Gunasinghe, and SLTB Chairman Sajeewa Kanakarathna.

SLTB also introduced a new uniform for the newly appointed female conductors.
