42Several flights scheduled to land at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake were diverted to Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport due to adverse weather.
Around six incoming flights were redirected as heavy rainfall and reduced visibility affected operations at BIA, an official said.
Airport authorities are monitoring the situation.
