President meets party leaders on energy crisis

A meeting between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and party leaders was held at Parliament yesterday (20) to discuss key national concerns.

During the discussion, the President highlighted the global energy crisis triggered by tensions in the Middle East and its impact on Sri Lanka’s economy, while outlining measures taken by the government to maintain stability.

The meeting was attended by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, along with Rauff Hakeem, Mano Ganesan and other party representatives.
