Postal Department earns Rs. 13,100 mn in 2025

The Sri Lanka Postal Department recorded a revenue of Rs. 13,100 million in 2025, exceeding the Treasury’s target, Postmaster General Ruwan Sathkumara stated.

He noted that new recruitments and confirmations were carried out last year, including the appointment of 378 Sub Postmasters in June, the first confirmations since 2020.
