Litro Gas Lanka has assured that it can maintain an uninterrupted supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) throughout May.
The company stated that 20,500 metric tons of gas have already been received for April, with an additional 17,500 metric tons expected. Current stocks are being stored in a floating facility in the Maldives.
Litro also noted that another vessel carrying 20,000 metric tons of gas is en route to the Maldives via South Africa.
The company confirmed that required volumes were released to meet festive season demand and that regular bottling and distribution operations resumed on April 16 to ensure continued supply to consumers.
