The programme combined strategic direction with practical leadership development. Key initiatives introduced during the conference included the launch of the Branch Manager Talent Pool and a dedicated Regional Managers’ platform, aimed at strengthening succession planning, accountability, and execution excellence across the network. Interactive working sessions enabled branch managers to share insights, address operational challenges, and align on measurable priorities for 2026.
A special leadership session by Deepal Sooriyaarachchi on “Be a Branch Leader” focused on customer-centric decision-making, ownership mindset, and building high-performing teams — reinforcing the expectation that branch managers serve not only as operational heads, but as culture carriers.
Chairman Jegan Durairatnam delivered a keynote address outlining the evolving banking landscape and the strategic imperatives shaping DFCC Bank’s future. An interactive panel discussion featuring Chairman Jegan Durairatnam, Chief Executive Officer Thimal Perera, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Shamindra Marcelline, and members of the senior leadership team provided a candid platform for dialogue, clarity, and alignment.
The conference also recognised top-performing branches and regions, underscoring the link between disciplined execution and sustainable growth.
