Kerner Haus Global Solutions has appointed Damitha Jayawardana as Acting CEO with effect from 6 March 2026.
Jayawardana is currently the CFO of the company and is a finance and corporate leader with over 20 years of experience spanning auditing, accounting, and business management, with a specialisation in the operational and financial dynamics of BPO and KPO environments.
His career began in audit, where five years of rigorous financial oversight built the analytical foundation that now underpins his approach to governance, cost control, and performance management. For more than 15 years, 14 of which have been in senior managerial roles, he has driven operational efficiency and sustainable growth across multiple industries, with particular depth in service-sector businesses where per-seat cost structures, workforce density, and operational scalability are central to commercial success.
This hands-on experience managing BPO and KPO operations gives Jayawardana a distinctive edge in the context of Kerner Haus Global Solutions. He understands, from the inside, what these businesses require from a workspace – the infrastructure needs, the compliance expectations, the scalability demands, and the cost sensitivities that drive leasing decisions.
This positions him to directly support Kerner Haus’s client acquisition strategy, helping articulate and structure propositions that genuinely speak to the needs of prospective tenants. Beyond client-facing insight, Jayawardana brings equal value to the portfolio development and investment side of the business. His expertise in cost and internal controls enables him to contribute meaningfully to property performance analysis, yield optimisation, and the financial structuring of new acquisitions – ensuring the portfolio grows on a commercially sound footing.
Jayawardana currently serves as a director of several leading companies in Sri Lanka, where he has led organisational change initiatives, optimised operational processes, and delivered measurable improvements in profitability.
He is a member of CA Sri Lanka and holds a MBA, membership with CMA Australia, and a DBA from New Zealand. He combines entrepreneurial leadership with strong planning and problem-solving capabilities, making him well placed to help Kerner Haus align its strategic vision with execution as it scales its commercial property portfolio across Sri Lanka and beyond.
