Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka(CBSL) P. Nandalal Weerasinghe participated in a high-level discussion at the Asia in 2050 Conference on the Asia-Pacific’s role in the global economy.
The session also featured Kristalina Georgieva of the International Monetary Fund, Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas, and Malaysia’s Finance Minister Amir Hamzah Azizan.
Weerasinghe noted Sri Lanka’s experience in managing its economic crisis and outlined reforms aimed at restoring macroeconomic and financial stability.
