Amana Takaful Celebrates Real-Life Heroes at Annual Awards 2024

Amana Takaful Insurance, Sri Lanka’s most awarded insurance provider, hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony 2024 at the Monarch Imperial, honouring the remarkable achievements and contributions of its team members from across the island. Embracing a vibrant superhero-themed concept, this year’s event paid tribute to the company’s real-life heroes who demonstrated exceptional performance throughout 2024.

Graced by key dignitaries including Mr. Zulficar Ghouse (Chairman, Amana General Insurance), Mr. Hassan Kassim (Managing Director), Mr. Gehan Rajapakse (CEO, Amana Life Insurance), Mr. Siva Karthigun (CEO, Amana General Insurance), and members of the Board of Directors, the ceremony brought together staff from all regions to celebrate excellence, commitment, and impact.

The event recognized top performers from various segments, including best-performing branches, leading regional contributors, exceptional team leaders, long-serving employees, and distinguished members of the CEO’s and MD’s Clubs. Winners walked away with trophies, medals, cash prizes, and foreign tours, in recognition of their dedication and results during the year.

Special recognition was also extended to CEO Award recipients in both Life and General insurance segments, along with MDRT qualifiers who elevated the brand’s international stature. Charith Korala, Assistant Sales Manager – Enterprise Team, was named Champion of Champions 2024, the highest honour presented to the top-performing salesperson of the year for Amana Takaful General Insurance.
