The world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand realme has launched realme 8, the latest edition of its number series and AIOT products as realme Buds Q2, realme Wireless 2 Neo, realme Watch 2, in Sri Lanka on 17 May.

realme’s number series is the most successful series of realme in the mid-range market, already notching a worldwide sales of 33 million units during three years and 6 generation upgrades. realme Sri Lankan announced that the realme 8 and AIOT products will be available in Abans, Singhagiri, Dialog and Daraz realme flagship store and all island realme authorised dealers from 20th May 2021.

realme 8 has realme UI 2.0 out of box and Hi-Res Audio Certification for a better audio-visual experience. With 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM, 64MP AI Quad Camera, futuristic design, 30W Dart Charge, massive 5000mAH battery, powerful Helio G95 processor, and a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display.

realme 8’s camera power is so high it’s specifically themed as ‘In Style. Capture Infinity’, a 64MP AI powered quad camera and its top line photography features that youth everywhere now demand. It has been deemed by international smartphone enthusiasts as a leap-forward in its phone-range. Tilt-shift Mode on the phone can turn the real world into a miniature world, providing an exciting photography experience. realme 8 equips 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with peak brightness of 1000nits and supports Always-on Display and a fast unlocking light-sensitive in-display sensor. The display has a 1080P FHD resolution and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. Sunlight mode supports a peak brightness of 1000nits. The display includes eye protection features such as a DC-like dimming and anti-flicker in low brightness. 

The technological advances in realme 8 are not found in many other midrange phones sold at similar price levels. realme 8 features 30W Dart Flash Charge capable of filling a 5000mAh battery in just 65 minutes. Five Dimension Charge Protection ensures charging safety. 

realme 8’s 5000mAh battery can last for 40 days on standby and 10 hours while playing games. In Super Power Saving Mode, the phone can standby for two days with just a 5% charge. 

realme 8 also has App Quick Freeze, Sleep Standby Optimisation, and other battery optimisation functions. realme 8 can also charge other phones or smart devices with an OTG cable. 

Interms of its stylish design, realme 8 features an infinite Bold Design, It comes in two colours, Cyber Silver and Cyber Black. realme 8 weighs only 177g and has a thickness of less than 8mm.
