HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has unveiled the first-ever HMD Global tablet Nokia T20.
A device, which offers users a suite of cutting-edge functionalities, will be available in Sri Lanka island wide for purchase from mid-December onwards.
Nokia T20 is configured for users to love, trust and keep – it comes with a powerful 8200 mAh battery, offering longer hours for work, play and learning. In addition, the device comes equipped with two years of Operating System (OS) upgrades and three years of monthly security updates, with an optional fourth year for Enterprise customers, ensuring greater security and data privacy for users.
As part of its long-lasting commitment to security, last year, the company announced the acquisition of Valona Labs and launch of a brand-new Centre of Excellence in Tampere, Finland. The well-loved and trusted Nokia smartphones are part of the industry-recognized Android Enterprise Recommended Program.
“We wanted to help our customers find new ways to work, learn and update their productivity with a tablet designed to last and keep you powering through your workday thanks to its all-day battery life.
We are beyond excited to introduce the first-ever Nokia tablet – Nokia T20, introduced by HMD Global, to the Sri Lankan market. Of course, Nokia T20 is all that you would expect from Nokia phones, in a tablet, which includes durability and up-to-date Nokia’s Android promise, which ensures people receive a quality experience that continues to get better over time. We will continue to deliver on this promise and further, we build the trust of our fans, which is one of our core values as a business. The longer we enjoy using our phones, the better it is for the environment in driving a positive impact in Sri Lanka’s reduction in waste management,” said HMD Global Regional Head and General Manager Pan Asia Ravi Kunwar.
The new Nokia T20 is designed with the same Scandinavian design philosophy as Nokia phones, a simplified and pure design where every detail, edge and surface finish are curated with ease of use from the outset. The solid metal body structure and polished 3D display frame attach the large display perfectly to the thin metal body, so it’s built to go the distance.
