Uber Eats Sri Lanka wins Silver at the Festival of Media Asia Awards

Uber Eats Sri Lanka has won its first-ever regional marketing accolade, bagging Silver in the Creative Media Award category at the prestigious Festival of Media Asia Pacific Awards 2025.

The recognition was awarded for the brand’s recent campaign, “Get Almost, Almost Anything”, focused on its expanded range of products, offering much more than just food delivery. Through the app, customers can now order not just cooked meals, but also groceries, health and beauty products, pet food, and more—serving a broad range of everyday needs.

The campaign cleverly positioned Uber Eats as the answer to what consumers see in ads across TV, digital, or out-of-home platforms. Using sharp media insights, the brand strategically followed high-demand product category ads with playful Uber Eats creatives, reminding customers they could get many of those items delivered instantly via the app. This media innovation, a first for Uber in the APAC region, provided real-time contextual relevance that helped keep Uber Eats top of mind at the exact moment of consumer interest. The campaign was developed and executed by Uber’s media agency, Mindshare.

The entry stood out from submissions across the Asia-Pacific region, beating out major international brands from larger markets like India and Vietnam. This win marks a major milestone for Uber Eats Sri Lanka.

“This is a proud moment for our team in Sri Lanka,” said Varun Wijewardane, Country Manager, Uber Delivery – Sri Lanka. “To be recognised on a regional stage for creative excellence is both humbling and energising. It reflects our focus on building a brand that connects locally while delivering globally.”

The global ‘Get Almost, Almost Anything’ campaign has also been executed in Australia, the US, Mexico, and Taiwan.

The full list of winners is available on the Festival of Media Awards website.
