SriLankan Airlines Cancels Multiple Middle East Flights Amid Airspace Closures

SriLankan Airlines has announced the cancellation of several flights to and from key Middle Eastern destinations scheduled for today (28), citing the closure of airspace in parts of the region due to escalating tensions.

The national carrier said the decision was taken in the interest of passenger safety and operational security, noting that the disruptions affect both outbound and inbound services.
