SMCV Cricket Tourney in Victoria

The Sri Lanka Muslim Community Victoria (SMCV) in Australia successfully organised its Six-Over Tape Ball Cricket Tournament 2026 at the Galvin Park Reserve in Werribee, Melbourne, marking the third consecutive year of bringing the community together through cricket.

Dehiwala Boys, Dream Stars, Kabalis, Master Blasters, Melbourne Huntz, Melbourne Strikers, Northern Warriors, Periyamulla Warriors, Soaring Sixers and ZUL Warriors participated in this tournament.

Melbourne Strikers emerged champions and the runners-up were the Soaring Sixers.

Man-of-the-Match Inazir Wazeer (Melbourne Strikers), Highest-Run-Scorer Lareef Kaleel (Northern Warriors) and the Highest-Wicket-Taker Faizal Roohul (Soaring Sixers) received special awards.
