Concord Apparel and Concord Footwear Win Presidential Export Awards

Two leading subsidiaries of Guston Limited, Hong Kong — Concord Apparel (Pvt) Ltd, Avissawella, and Concord Footwear (Pvt) Ltd, Ulapane have achieved a significant milestone by securing top honours at the Presidential Export Awards (PEA) 2024/2025. At this year’s awards, Concord Apparel (Pvt) Ltd was recognised as the Best Exporter – Apparel Sector (Medium Scale category), while Concord Footwear (Pvt) Ltd won the Best Exporter Award – Footwear & Leather Products Sector, highlighting the group’s excellence across two key export industries. The prestigious awards ceremony, organised by the Export Development Board (EDB) of Sri Lanka, was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo. The event was graced by His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, underscoring the national importance of export excellence and global competitiveness. The awards were received by Mr. Prasanna Jayasinghe, Managing Director of Guston Limited, on behalf of both factories, marking a proud achievement for the group and reaffirming its strong global manufacturing capabilities.
